Karyn Kunst (Repurposed Plastic) is a creator/maker based in Flagstaff, AB. She designs & creates various products from home goods to jewelry, focusing on using recycled plastic as the raw material.
This gives us an opportunity to work together to share knowledge and skills for mutual benefits. NM provides technical expertise & manufacturing solutions so that Karyn can keep creating.

Karyn works with her surrounding communities to collect bottle caps & other recyclables. Which is then brought to the NM shop, where we clean, shred and store it for injection.
Working with Karyn we develop concepts, prototypes & tooling (molds).
Once the design is approved we manufacture & finish the product ready for assembly/branding/packaging.
Working with tenacious & hardworking creatives like Karyn, inspires NM to keep innovating novel methods of mechanical recycling & seek solutions for creators.
Below is Karyn’s flagship product, a soap holder with unique/organic designs. Karyn collaborated with another local business specializing in regenerative body care (Prairie Soap Shack) to pair 100% Recycled soap dishes with all natural soaps. Find the package here — “Gifts of nature”.
