NADA MAKES is an independent Edmonton based design & manufacturing studio focused on upcycling & repurposing waste.

Only 9 % of plastic is recycled, the rest ends up in landfills or in the environment.

Plastics left unprocessed will eventually break down. Finding it’s way into our oceans, rivers, soil and our bodies.

However if processed properly can prove to be an incredible resource.

Learn more about the effects of plastic here.

We collect plastic waste from local businesses, organizations and individuals. We then clean, shred, press or inject the plastic into something worth keeping.

We promote a circular economy by closing the loop on plastic waste keeping it out of the land fill and giving it a longer life.

Waste is viewed as ‘nothing’, out of sight, out of mind. But in fact waste can be crafted to become something valuable and beautiful.
